Mary leads jury panel for Bucharest landscaping competition

Steering group member Mary Bowman was honoured to be the President of the Jury for the Colentina Lake Competition.

This ambitious project includes a system of 15 lakes in the second district of Bucharest. The lakes form an ecological corridor at a city and regional scale. The main objective of the competition was to select the three best landscaping solutions for each lot, in order to contract the design services for landscaping the shores of the six lakes of Colentina.The winning scheme has the potential to become an exemplar project to promote the importance of clean water in the city, access to nature and enhancing the lifestyle and wellbeing of a diverse and growing population.
