Magali Thomson announced as chair for the 2026 Pineapple Awards

EQN’s Magali Thomson, Project Lead for Placemaking at Great Ormond Street Hospital, will be chairing The Pineapples, the only awards dedicated to celebrating excellence in placemaking and place-led initiatives. They spotlight projects that deliver meaningful social, environmental, and economic impact.

Each year, the calibre of submissions continues to rise, and what makes it unique is hearing directly from the teams behind the submissions. I am always on the lookout for placemaking schemes in particular, with a focus on health and inclusion, incorporating climate resilience and joy.
